Re: Wednesday - 8/5/2020

Good morning everyone. We have spent most of July out at the lake. things are really starting to come together on our lot. We still have the firepit to move and after that the trailer will be moved so that we can step out of it, right onto the deck. We have limited internet out there so I am trying ...

Re: Have you ever taken an online techniques class?

I watch a lot of Shimelle's live videos on Facebook and I have taken several of her classes. I watch Vicki Boutin all the time and I have taken her classes at our local Crop and Create events. I also watch Tim Holtz quite a bit. these 3 alone have done so much free stuff since March when the Covid q...

Re: RQOTD JULY 8, 2020

I've taken a couple of Spanish classes but I would like to learn more. Although, we may never go back to Mexico now so maybe I should pick a different language! also there are lots of techniques in scrapping and sewing that I would like to learn as well. Oh, and how to use Photoshop better. I really...

Re: Wednesday July 8th

We had all 3 grandchildren here today. Apparently the parental units were tired of them! It was cloudy and cool but grampa took them out to the garden to help weed. They worked for about an hour out there and he said they did all the rows. We don't have a big garden, just a few things so we can enjo...

Re: SQOTD 7/8/20

I pretty much use all the colours, yellow probably being my least favourite. However, my grandson played soccer with a team that had yellow jerseys so I did quite a few layouts with the brightest yellow ever! Orange is another colour that I seldom use unless someone is wearing that colour. Even hall...

Re: We Have a Winner - Congratulations Beth

Congratulations! We have been busy with grandchildren and running back and forth between home and the lake. I only have limited data while at the lake so it's hard to keep up with much on line. The challenge did get me doing more pages than I have for a couple of months though, and that's a good thi...

Re: RQOTD 6/18/2020

Medium well is how I like my steak. I do like filet mignon when we eat steak in a restaurant but pretty much any cut on our home BBQ will do. We just bought a half of beef from a local farmer so we have lots of steak for the summer! I marinate the tougher cuts and our son in law brines and smokes fo...

I do not like either of those. If I do eat a chocolate bar it's usually a coffee crisp or a kit kat. I prefer savoury over sweet.
