4/8 Mother Earth Challenge - Reduce PP

Join us all month long in April as we celebrate Mother Earth herself . . .by Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling. . . Reducing is cutting back on the amount of trash we make, reusing is finding a new way to use trash so that we don't have to throw it out, and recycling is using trash to remake new goods that can be sold again.

4/8 Mother Earth Challenge - Reduce PP

Post by Krystle »

Join us all month long in April as we celebrate Mother Earth herself . . . Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Reducing is cutting back on the amount of trash we make, reusing is finding a new way to use trash so that we don't have to throw it out, and recycling is using trash to remake new goods that can be sold again. Challenges will be based on reusing, reducing and recycling - whether it be in your personal life or with your scrapbooking supplies, focusing on finding new ways to use and repurpose items in our stash.......the possibilities are limitless...

For this week's challenge I want you to reduce the amount of patterned paper that you use on your layout. Here I used just one patterned paper paired with scraps of cardstock.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations. Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their online store of choice.

*any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.

Well this was too easy. Ha. Slapped a bunch of stickers on here and found some metal letters for the title. No pp. Not sure I'm crazy about it, but hey, photos done and in a book.

Great challenge Krystle! This will be hard for me since I use a lot of patterned layers. Love your example!

Great challenge Krystle. Love your example.

I like to layer my pattern papers so this one will definitely be a bit of a challenge for me.

This was such a fun challenge! The only PP I used were the 3 scraps of PP at the bottom of the layout! Thanks for this challenge!
