4/29 Mother Earth Challenge - Recycled Design

Post by Krystle »

Join us all month long in April as we celebrate Mother Earth herself . . . Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Reducing is cutting back on the amount of trash we make, reusing is finding a new way to use trash so that we don't have to throw it out, and recycling is using trash to remake new goods that can be sold again. Challenges will be based on reusing, reducing and recycling - whether it be in your personal life or with your scrapbooking supplies, focusing on finding new ways to use and repurpose items in our stash.......the possibilities are limitless...

For this challenge, I recycled a design that I had used previously: a diagonal design with patterned paper on one side and cardstock on the other. I challenge you to recycle a design you have used in the past.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations. Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their online store of choice.

*any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.

So I found this library pocket while cleaning my scrap room last week. I decided it would be perfect for this weeks card curbside swap! I used all scraps and things I had on hand to quickly make these up. :D

Pretty sure this was from a Spring fling a long time ago when we used to store hop during the first week of May back when there were ten stores within reach. Now there are only two left. Three if you count Pebbles in my Pocket but Echo Park bought them and are in their store now.
