Crop Chef Rules and Tips

Post by tammyfolk »

Rules -

1 - These challenges are designed for YOU to have a fun day scrapping! So rule #1 is HAVE FUN!!

2 - All challenges must be done in order and posted in the CUC Gallery and linked to YOUR THREAD. *So each member needs to create a holding post in the INSD forum, so at the end of the competition, all 5 Challeneges will be in YOUR thread.

3 - Challenges will be posted every two (2) hours starting @ 10 am EST on May 2nd. Again, you MUST do Challenge #1 before moving on to the next Challenge.

*Keep your eyes open during the two (2) hours between challenges, as a surprise twist may show up that will need to be added to the original challenge.

4 - DO NOT Read the next challenge posted until you have completed the one before it.

5 - All challenges are to be completed by Sunday May 3rd, 2020 @ 9 pm EST.

Tips -

1 - Take some time to get your PANTRY ITEMS in order. These items will include card stock, patterned paper, journaling spots, stickers, die cuts, ribbon/twine, washi tape, etc. This is also known as STASH!

2 - SEASONINGS will include brads, enamel dots, gems, eyelets, buttons, etc.

3 - GARNISHES will include paint, mists, chalks, inks, etc

4 - Things can change without warning so it may be a good idea not to permanently adhere anything to your layout until the twist has been revealed

5 - You will be required to use your imagination to come up with items that might be a little abstract in their description. Think outside the box

6 - Design your layout, take a break and play some games and then go back and finish your layout before the next Challenge is posted. There are 2 hours between each Challenge.

7 - There will be a variety of challenges...make sure you have enough photos ready. *Hint - one challenge uses 4 photos

8 - Keep all of your scraps during the challenges

I actually watched an episode for the first time the other night when I came up with the Bingo words. . . I had it confused with Chopped.
