February Challenge

Post by Patti »

Morning all! Sorry I am late posting this. I got caught up watching YouTube videos of new interior design trends. What's hot this year is repurposed "grandma" style also known as Millenial. Lots of layers, colors, ruffles, lace, and florals. Hhhhmmmmm? I think I used to call this Early American Attic. As we have seen everything old becomes new again with some modifications.
For today's challenge, you are going to take take a trip back to an old---years ago old--layout that you love and lift it combining the old style with something that is a trend today. I know you can do this! There is a fabulous prize waiting at the end for one lucky participant!
Be sure to show us both LOs.
Patti

This was so fun looking back at old layouts. Back when we cut our photos into shapes, used fiskars shaped scissors and journaling around the shapes. I had quite a few choices but I went with the torn paper and added new stickers!

This is a least 30years ago, these munchins were 5 and 7and are now 38 and 40

Here is the now! I also added sand to the paper.

Here's my new layout using newer products, a banner, and stickers. Also a newer border punch.

Happy 4th of July
Group photo of some of the grandkids, July 4th, 2019.

I lifted this older layout from 2013 because of the shaped cardstock. I still have various shaped cardstock in different colors and shapes. I believe this is using Little Yellow Bicycle too.
