September Chef of the Month - Layered Circles

Post by GinniG »

Hi everyone! I am honored to have been chosen as the Chef of the Month for September!

Join us all month long in September as we focus on all the things "circular" . . .flat and round things, spherical things, and even "round" things that've made their way into song titles. . . . the possibilities for inspiration are endless this month.

I would like to challenge you to use layered circles on your layout and to use some stitching (you can draw them if you don’t like to sew). This is a layout about some dear friends of ours that we knew in Florida. Scotty and Karen went through some really tough times just after these pictures were taken several years ago. And not long after I created this layout I found out that Karen had succumbed to a long term illness. So this page is extra special to me.

Here's mine! I distressed the circles and used machine stitching. :)

Goin' Truckin'
Photo of sweet grandson Marcus with his doggies Bo and Kane, August 2020. One of their favorite fun things to do is jump in the back of the truck and go for a ride and even better if they are headed to the ice cream shoppe. My DH ever the jokester....when he saw this photo he asked them when they got the hairless one in the back. LOL :D
