September 30th - Planet Earth

Join us all month long in September as we focus on all the things "circular" . . .flat and round things, spherical things, and even "round" things that've made their way into song titles. . . . the possibilities for inspiration are endless this month.

September 30th - Planet Earth

Post by Jan Mosier »

Today's challenge is based on our planet, Earth.

Did you know that Earth travels at a speed of nearly 30 kilometers per second or 67,00 miles per hour. At that speed it still takes 365 days (1 year) for the Earth to orbit around the sun one time. It's the third planet from the sun and the fifth largest of the planets in our solar system. It's the only planet in the solar system known to have an atmosphere containing free oxygen, oceans of water on it's surface and life......unless you believe in UFO's and Martians.

So with all that being said. Your challenge.......if you choose to accept it is, CREATE A ROUND LAYOUT.
Use a circle cutter, die cut machine or a kitchen plate. And again, you ladies can thank Tammy for this one too.

Here is my layout.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

The files are not working for me right now for some reason. I also restarted the computer. The file won't let me past it into the body of the message. I will keep trying. It is saying board quota has been reached. So I just did what Ural did!!

Think? If it's not fun, it's all Tammy's fault!
