Good morning! It's my turn to share my Paper Pad Challenge with you all. My Paper Pad choice was...drum roll... an assortment of Vicki Boutin collection papers. Lately, my scrapbook paper aesthetic has been all things botanical or nature. So when I was perusing the paper aisle at Hobby Lobby, this pad caught my eye immediately, and I knew I wanted to use it for the Paper Pad Challenge. (Also because I have taken so many nature pictures lately that I needed a good pad of paper to highlight all my photos). Here is the pad...
Also, since this is Monday, it's also a sketch highlight day. So to feature my paper pad and one of my favorite pics of my daughter and her BFF, our German Shepherd, I used a sketch designed by Bev Code at Sketches in Thyme.


And finally, with October 3 being World Card Making Day, I featured 2 cards I made using scraps of paper from the paper pad.
Remember, a new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Friday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

I was unable to add my sketch inspiration to my main post. Here is the Bev Code sketch that inspired my layout. It's a fun one; highly encourage sketchaholics like me to give this one a shot!
