TRACY checking on you...

Post by Tamara »

Are you in the path of Milton? I saw the whole lower part of the state is in Danger. My sister is in St. Cloud and they are just expecting Rain and wind. They are on a curfew tonight at 8:00 pm till tomorrow morning at 10:00 Am. So scary for everyone.

Thanks everyone!

We made it through Milton with not many problems and we are so thankful. The wind and rain were unbelievable! We lost power Wednesday night and finally got it back this morning so basically only 1 day with no power. We have a 20 year old generator that thankfully worked on the first starting pull so at least we could keep the fridge running. Luckily it wasn't hot so we didn't miss the AC. Spent yesterday cleaning up the yard debris and helping neighbors. It's always nice to see everyone coming together to help out. We're just all so glad it's over!!

So glad, I can't imagine. Glad you were fortunate with little damage. Wind is my least favorite element. My sister had a generator as well and was only without power for 22 hours. A big tree in their yard was uprooted but fell away from the house and missed the neighbors shed.

Glad to hear your sister is safe and the tree fell away from the house! I just can't believe all the damage around the state!
