Sunday 2.21.21

Post by Tamara »

Good Morning! Where is everybody?

Hope you are having a great day! It's pretty much a regular Sunday for us. Church online and a little dabbling in the scrap room. However we do get to spend some time with our granddaughter today. My daughter is going to a massage and my son in law and grandson are snowmobiling and may be out of cell phone range so she doesn't want to leave Kalli home alone although she would be fine. She is 15. I am excited though, I'm going to see if she wants to make cookies, or brownies or do diamond art with us. It was her Christmas present and we bought one for each of us as well.
Happy Sunday!

I slept in and got caught up on my sleep today. Felt good to be back in my own bed. Got laundry going now and have no other plans for today. Might head into my scraproom. I have a page in progress on my desk, only hope I can remember what I was gonna do with it.

Happy Sunday everyone! This weekend has been somewhat of a blur. My daughter came home from college yesterday, and was busy doing things around town with her. It was also my Dad's birthday, so spent some time with him. Going to hopefully finish a project in my scrap room in a few and then get myself mentally ready for the week ahead. Have a good one!

Good afternoon ladies - typical Sunday here too. Trying to finish the laundry, and prep myself for the upcoming week. Other than ironing a few articles of clothing, I'm feeling pretty good about it all. Shawn is currently making me a steak on the grill, and Garrett just brought me a sweet tea home from McDonalds on his way back from school. ALL students had to be COVID tested again today to determine whether they can resume in person classes this week after the incident last weekend. So yeah, I'm feeling pretty special today.

Garrett turns 20 tomorrow so we're going to try and go out to dinnerr tomorrow just the three of us. He doesn't want us making a fuss, and considering we're all still social distancing that's understandable. He even agreed to let me take his picture today - haven't done it yet, but hoping to soon, you know, last day of 19 type of thing.

My son wanted me to take him bowling again for more practice as he has a couple of tournaments coming up. He's doing really well! He's only 13 and his average is already a 184. the high school coach has already recruited him for the varsity team. I wish I was that good!
Lazy day here. Roast is in the crock pot, laundry and dishes are done. I've been trying to scrap, but without the new pics, I feel like I lost my mojo. I've just been grabbing random pictures here and there. No real motivation. I did break down and go to the scrapbook store yesterday. We have ONE actual scrapbook store. She was having a great clearance sale and I picked up a few new things too. I was avoiding the new Simple Stories stuff, but seeing it in real life, I could't resist.

NOT looking forward to another long week of work. I just hope I can get through it without a headache this time.

Have a great day!

It's been a quiet day at home with the dogs. I baked 2 batches of treats and did 2 loads of dog laundry. I'm making a pitcher of tea now and getting ready to settle down for the day.

Going on day 3 of no heat, but at least the tech has traced the problem down - just have to wait til tomorrow for the part to come in. Thankfully, it has been warmer in our state so it hasn’t been too bad. So had to stay home to wait on the tech to get here. With the severe weather change, it has given me a headache. Hopefully it will stop soon.

I’m sorry you are still having headaches, Tammy; hopefully you can get some relief soon. I did spend some of the cleaning out a lot of my yarn - mostly the remnants. If it’s not a full skein of yarn I got rid of it. I hated to do it but I just don’t see me using it.
