Does anyone have any fourth of July plans?

I was discussing this with DH on our ride home yesterday. We don't have any at all anymore. DS always goes out of town for the week with his inlaws so that just leaves our daughter and her family but since she has older kids with friends it is a bust!
I guess we will just put out the flag and throw something on the grill for just us. DH doesn't like crowds so we won't be hunting down any fireworks.

We will probably walk over and watch the parade that our town has. no other plans

As far as I know, we have no plans. Dh will probably grill something for us.

DH wants us to take another road trip to New Mexico to celebrate with our sons.

We're going over to one of Shawns friends' house. They pooled some $ together and spent over $700 on fireworks, so we'll be watching a display from his back yard out in the country on a mountain . . .Shawn and I went last year as well. This year Garrett will go with us as he's not leaving to go to his dads house until after our concert in mid July.

Kyle is grilling on the 4th for the 3 of us.

Well, DH is on call, my brother in law is here with us and I was supposed to meet my knitting friends for lunch today to kick off the long weekend. The restaurant is family owned so they closed for the weekend. And we are having trivia night at church tomorrow night. Not sure how I’m supposed to squeeze some scrappy time in there. DH got called into work and BIL eats up a lot of time….
