12-7-2020 Mood Board Sketch

December is all about Mood Boards! Mood Boards can be used to pull ideas, color schemes, styles, concepts, textures, and most importantly providing a starting point for your inspiration.
I chose this mood board for three reasons....1. I love the colors, 2. I love the feeling and 3. I love the light distortion
As I was looking for papers to match the mood board I came across this line from Fancy Pants in my stash which pulled in some of the colors. Then I went looking for a sketch and came across this adorable LO. I guess I was still in the bust a pad mood because I ended up lifting it. I wanted to play off the light distortion and found this picture of my husband and grandson where the light from the lamp caused it to be a not so great picture that I normally would set aside but it was perfect for this LO. I was able to achieve the feeling of the mood board with the tender love between these two as well as my distorted light.
