Are you a stickler for your routine cleanings? Or do you dread the dentist like I do??

I do not like going. I have an appt the 31st and need it now. Have a bad tooth on bottom front. Hope they get a cancellation so I can get in earlier. PLus I do not have dental insurance and HATE paying out that cash.

I go regularly 2 times a year. I don't mind it. We also did not have insurance but always felt it was better to prevent than have a huge bill. we now have insurance but need to find a dentist. I love going and getting my teeth cleaned. I don't want to eat afterward because they are so clean and shiny. If I went every day I could lose weight!

I'm with you Patty! I worked in dentistry so if I said something other than twice a year I would be in trouble. I go every six months. I currently don't have dental insurance but I am on their no ins plan where we pay $25 a month and you get two free cleanings a year(basically paying for them unless you have any other more expenses) you get a discount on fillings and crowns and root canals. it does save you $$ if that happens. I had a root canal last year that I got for $650 and it would of been $1200 had I not been on this plan. so as much as you hate a monthly payment it definately makes you glad you have it when something goes awry.

As long as I have dental insurance I am a stickler about going - my parents paid too much for braces (back in the day) for me not to take good care of them.
