RQOTD JULY 5, 2020

Post by sthom97093 »

It is so hot where I live right now...it takes my breath away when I go outside. Yet I HATE being cold. Which do you prefer; extremely hot days or extremely cold days?

After much thought, I think I prefer extremely cold days. It's a lot easier to warm up than to cool down. A pair of flannel PJ's and a blanket do the trick pretty fast.

That's a tough one because I think we are so spoiled. We have a pool and air conditioning, so the heat doesn't really bother me. And when it's cold, lots of pajamas, socks and blankets.

I think I dislike the cold more. When I'm too cold, I just hibernate and I'm not productive.

That is really a tough one. I live in Florida so the heat doesn't bother me too much but I wouldn't want to be without a/c. I used to live in Maine and we left there to get away from the cold so I guess I'd say I prefer the heat over the cold.

I live where four seasons are pretty defined. Our heat in the summer is dry desert heat, no humidity so I would go with that. Although I love winters, I don't like to cold, sitting in front of the fireplace and looking out at the snow is where I like to be.

Our heat comes with lots of humidity, thunder, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, mosquitoes and every inch of body sweats.........so I'll take the cold any day.

I would much rather be hot than cold! If I'm cold and I can't warm up I'm miserable. :) And this from a person who voluntarily moved from Florida to Alaska 4 years ago. HAHAHAHAHA! In my defense, we're in Southeast Alaska so we don't get the extreme temperatures that they get up in Fairbanks or Anchorage. :)

I'd rather be hot. If I get too cold it's hard to shake, and a/c and fans help keep me cool in the heat.
