RQOTD SEPT 6, 2020

Post by sthom97093 »

Good afternoon everyone! Even though we are in the middle of a long weekend, sometimes Sundays can be stressful for me trying to get ready for the work week, etc. I have found that indulging in a guilty pleasure on Sundays help make the day a little less daunting. What is your guiltiest pleasure?

My Sunday guilty pleasure is a whirlpool bath with lavender bath salts, a hair masque, and a book to read. I don't take baths any other day of the week, so this is definitely something I look forward to on Sundays.

Sunday has always been my cheat day as far as eating goes. I'm a lifetime Weight Watcher so I really watch what I eat but on Sunday I eat pretty much whatever I want. Right now I'm munching on a whole bag of Quaker Ranch Rice Crisps and will follow that up with some chocolate.

Sunday is a wonderful day for me. I start it out with refreshing my spirit at our worship service and time with church friends. The rest of the day is pretty laid back with doing things that are important not urgent.

If I have time to treat myself it's to read a book or better yet take a nap!

That is great. I need to adopt your philosophy of important but not urgent. :)

Isn't it funny how we used to resist sleep when we were little but now a nap is such a luxurious gift?

I need to try unplugging! I'd likely be such a happier person...
