Today was my first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year. This had me thinking about other first days of school when I was a student. What did you look forward to the most when you were little returning to school?

I always looked forward to looking at the homeroom lists and seeing who would be in my classes when I was in elementary school. I also loved shopping for school supplies. (Some things haven't changed; I still do!) Nothing was better than the smell of a freshly opened package of Crayola 64 count of crayons...

SO TRUE!!! But I did love all the new school supplies. The smell of the crayons was the best!!
