January 2 - Out With the Old Challenge

Join us all month long in January as we post challenges with the focus of scrapping with our unused stash!
Let's face it, we all have a scrappy stash …. things that we are hoarding, forgot we had, never got around to using … yeah, you know you have it, too!
So join us as we say
“OUT WITH THE OLD . . . IN WITH THE NEW!”
My challenge for you today is to use a Discontinued Manufacturer PLUS something new from your stash. 
I'll add a list of discontinued manufacturers in the next post, but I'm sure there are probably others.
Please list what manufacturer you use along with your newer item.
I used the Little Yellow Bicycle 'Get Your Game On' line plus my newer item is the 49 & Market Ephemera pieces.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Sounds fun! I'll be scouring my papers. I don't keep them in a particular order but I'm sure I have some of those.

So I put this one together thinking the papers were from Cosmo Cricket - turns out they are from Crate Paper. I did however find out that these papers from 2010!

Fun challenge. I have no idea what brands of paper I have. I mostly only shopped at JoAnne's. I"ll have to see if nay of my paper has these names on them.

I used a piece of Bo Bunny paper from 2010 I know American Crafts bought them but I don't see much from them anymore
My alpha letters are newer.

Wonderful design and good for you for using that older paper anyway. I don't even recognize it. LOL
