Scrap Question of the Day - 02/15/2024

Post by tammyfolk »

Do you stitch on your Layouts/Cards? If so, do you prefer hand stitching? Machine stitching? Or faux stitching? Do you feel like it's a trend that has gone out? What make's you want to stitch on your layouts/cards?

I handstitch and machine stitch on my layouts and also have a stitching stamp. I prefer machine stitching simply because it's quicker, but right now having a problem with my thread snapping every few stitches. Gotta work on it.

I do mostly faux stitching. I used to use my machine a lot, until it stopped working. I'm going to get it fixed when I get home and use it more. I have done some hand stitching here in Florida

I have done all three. I love the look of machine stitching, but stamping is easier than pulling out my sewing machine and setting it up.

I like all kinds of stitching but my favorite is machine stitching. But I hardly ever do it because my machine is sooooo old and it takes forever to set it up and get it to work right.....it's probably more operator error than a machine problem. :D

I do like machine stitching but hardly ever do it. I have to get it out but then also keep track of what needle is for paper and which is for material. When the tiny sewing machines came out of course we all bought one but they didn't work as well and it becomes a drudgery and takes too long than I want to put into it.

It looks so good, but I never take the time to do it
