Sticker sheets

Post by Tamara »

I know we ask this question all the time but it is front and center for me right now. I seriously have three 12x12 plastic container filled to the brim with used stickers.
1. How would you use them more?
2. How do you organize yours?
3. How do I get rid of some of them? I know the top answer is donating but what limits do I set? What do I keep? and how do I organize them so they aren't so messy?

So many questions and I don't want to sit and stare at them and not get anything accomplished. Today it is going to happen!!

I’ve started using foam tape to add dimension to stickers, adds a little more interest in clusters!

I store mine with matching papers. I have everything organized by kit and/or theme.

As far as purging, I would suggest donating to a local pre-school. I have a 4 year old and his school asks for stickers all the time. Maybe start with anything in a theme you don’t anticipate scrapping with any longer. I am not in the season of purging my stash, but what I do with clothing is, if I wouldn’t buy it in the store today/haven’t worn in the past year, out it goes!

I cut mine all apart and store them under themes in my embellishment drawers. For any I don't think I use they go to a charity auction for cancer.

1. I often stick them to paper and cut them out. I layer them and cluster them
2. I sort them by color or type ( flowers, animals, baby. Etc)
3. Schools. Maybe a daycare, 4 h club or Girl Scouts. Or a neighbor girl.

If you sprinkle cornstarch or powder on the back it gets rid of the stickiness so you can layer and pop them up. I'm not a fan of fussy cutting so this is my go to way of using them.
