Small Format Albums

Post by scrappy.boymama »

Anyone here scrapbook smaller layouts? 8x8 or 6x8? I’m looking to start mini albums as gifts for my siblings with photos of all my nieces and nephews and wanna go smaller since 12x12 albums take up a lot of space. Any good resources out there for sketches for the 6x8? I saw scrapbook.com carried nice albums that size so I’m leaning towards that!

I like the 6x8 format because you can use 8.5x11 sketches. Pinterest has a lot of good sketches.

I love the 6x8 I am doing school books for each of my grandkids in the Simple Stories snap albums. They are amazing and fun and cute.

I made my December Daily in a 6x8 album. Now I’m going to make one for February. I use the album, pages, and flip flaps from CTMH. They have 3 rings and the ones from Scrapbook.com have 2 rings.

Oh, that’s a good idea! PageMaps always has 8.5x11 too! I did an Allison Davis class last summer where she had ideas for that size too I think!

Oh good to know! I’m so used to 12x12 page protectors being interchangeable for the most part so it’s def good to know to pay attention to this size more closely!

I've never done smaller than 12x12 but these are some great ideas.

I see these at ACOT now! I love the stripes! Do you know about how many page protectors fit?
