Join us all month long in January as we take a nostalgic trip back to Comfort Food the way only Grandma could make it!

All challenges will be Recipe Challenges based on actual recipes - converted to Scrapbook Challenges. . . lots of fun recipes to share, and fond memories of days gone by.

Remember - A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

I love everything bagels. I made my own spice with this recipe:

Everything Spice
1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
1 tablespoon dried mixed onion
You can use this on fish or meats. It can be added whenever you need some spice.

My Challenge
1 and more patterned papers
1 photo
1 big title
1 button or gem
1 other embellishment
Since you must sprinkle this seasoning on your food ASLO sprinkle whatever else you want on yoru page. I used glitter

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

You have listed 1 large title and 1 big title. Are these the same or do we use 2 different titles?

I think I added a few more embellishments than the recipe called for...maybe I tripled the recipe! :D Glitter is sprinkled in the flowers and I used a heart instead of a button.

I used a few patterned papers, 1 photo, a big foam sticker title, and embellishment I made from a diecut heart+word sticker+banner piece+a button+an enamel dot, and I sprinkled the entire layout with green watercolor splatters.
