When I was small and tomatoes were ripe my grandmother would always make chutneys with the tomatoes but as a treat she always made a couple of batches of jam, but this is my favourite. I still make it to this very day when hubby has heaps of tomatoes in the garden. Most people I give it love it and ask for more. I always freeze the passionate fruit when they ripe on the vine, so I have them when required

Ingredients
• 10 medium (1.25kg) ripe tomatoes, peeled, chopped
• 4 large (800g) Granny Smith apples, peeled, chopped
• 1 1/3 cups passionfruit pulp
• 1/3 cup (80ml) lemon juice
• 4½ cups (1kg) sugar, warmed
• NOTE: Makes 6½ cups. You will need about 16 large passionfruit for this recipe.

Method
Combine the tomatoes and apples in a large saucepan, simmer, covered, for about 25 minutes or until fruit is soft. Test for pectin.

Strain the passionfruit pulp over a medium bowl. You will need to extract ¾ cup (180ml) of juice. Stir in the lemon juice, passionfruit juice, 2 tablespoons of the passionfruit seeds and sugar; stir over heat, without boiling, until the sugar has dissolved completely.

Bring to boil; boil, uncovered, stirring, occasionally for about 40 minutes or until jam jells when tested.

Pour hot jam into hot sterilised jars; seal while hot. Invert the jars until cold. Label Jars

My challenge to you is use Red, Green, Black yellow and White, as the 5 colours of the main ingredients ( as little or as much of each colour you want
Add layered embellishments for your chopped ingredients
Used Black Rhinestones or Pearls as the passionfruit Pulp
Do some journaling as the labels for your jam jars

Have fun

The closest I had to Black rhinestones was clear on a black background so it will have to do. My lighting was not good on this one. Sorry
