My recipe is Curried Scones, my Mother-in-law use to make them and gave the recipe. She was given it from one of her husband’s workmates (they were fettlers on the railways. I have been making them ever since and grow parsley especially for them

CURRIED SCONES
Ingredients
2 cups SR flour
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons grated matured cheese
1 small onion chopped finely
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon fresh parsley cut up finely
30g margarine or butter
Method
Sift the SR flour and curry powder into a large bowl.
Add grated cheese and parsley and mix. I use scissors to cut the parsley finely.
Add milk and melted margarine or butter and mix lightly. Do not mix more than necessary.
Turn onto a floured board and pat out to a thickness of 1.5cm.

Place on a greased tray with the scones touching to assist rising
Bake at 220C for 10 to 12 minutes until risen and light brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.

My Recipe Challenge to you is
Your Flour use a white background
Your Milk something that's moves
Your Butter is shiny use something Shiny, Glitter, Gemstones, or Pearls
Your Onion use One photo
Your Curry and Parsley use yellow and green
Your Cookie Cutter can have straight or bevelled edges use something round or with a scalloped edge
Your finished scones are light brown in colour, use something that is Light Brown or Biscuit Coloured

Have fun
