My brother sent a family text letting us know that my dad was depressed and that he hasn't been able to have him over to their house for dinner because of their kids coughing. Also my brother works in a hospital and probably shouldn't be by my dad right now. I text my dad since I haven't been down in almost 6 weeks. He says he understands but still waiting to see me again. A couple of my siblings said they would stop by and my sister ordered him a dinner that was delivered tonight. I realized that duh I should send him a card weekly. So Sunday I wrote him a card and told him that I know he missed my selfies so he may have to learn how to take one himself and text it to him. I'm so funny
Then a friend stopped by yesterday to get a few masks I made her and we chatted six feet apart on my porch for almost an hour. We really hope that scrap retreats happen in May!! I thought that I should send her a card thanking her for the visit because I have been stuck in my house.
