SQOTD-6.22.20

Post by Tamara »

Do you feel like covid 19 has put a halt on your memories to scrapbook?

I kind of feel like we're back on track. family is coming for holidays at least since Mother's Day. In the beginning it was worrisome if we would be able to make any memories together. I'm hoping it will continue. We haven't been on any vacations per se but we've taken a few day trips and got some great pics. Life moves on 😊

If anything, I feel like it gave me more time to scrap past events. I know once I catch up, I will miss having pictures of events that we had to cancel.

A bit, because I'm sure I would have been out a bit more with my sisters for photo ops, but also not really as I don't scrap much for me.

No. My daughter has been really good about sending me pictures and videos. I agree with Wendy that it has given me time to catch up although I'm still really behind.

Kind of although I'm using the time to try and catch up. I usually get photos from my stepdaughter on FB but she hasn't been taking many lately. I'm just worried that our August vacation isn't going to work out and I always get a lot of photos from that.

Yes, a bit, because we haven't taken our scheduled vacations or gone on big outings, but I still have everyday photos.

As much as I have hated the pandemic, it has given me the motivation to set up my craft room (after moving to the West Coast 4 years ago), and get back to scrapbooking and creating again. I'm still not up to 100% of what I was when we moved, like doing canvases, mini albums, art journaling too, but I'm getting there slowly but surely. And it's put things into perspective about what's really important to get done into scrapbooks.
