SQOTD 8-24-20

Post by Wendy »

Good morning!

So I've been contemplating purging the stash ....again....this whole moving thing has got me thinking about purging a LOT of my stuff.

Were you into the whole fiber/ ribbons / trim phase?

I have SOO many jars of fibers and trims...again, that I never remember to use. I think these will be the first to go with the purge.

I have a fair amount of ribbon that I rarely use but every once in a while they come in handy.

I have jars of individual colored ribbons on a hutch shelf in my room. Also I have a drawer of ribbons behind the scrap table which I go to more than anywhere else. I also have two shelves of spools of ribbon that definitely need purging!! I'm working on it bit by bit.

I have two drawers of ribbon. I purged a lot of it earlier this year tho. But I rarely remember to use it.

Yes, I used to have alot of that stuff and was in swaps to get more variety. But, I've given away nearly all of it. I kept a few things just in case it's needed for a challenge, but rarely ever use it.

I have a shoebox that holds my ribbon and trim, and a few plastic jars that have specialty trims like fringe ribbon, or pom pom trim. I use it for art journaling so I won't really purge it yet.

I purged mine a long time ago . . .I think I kept like three or four different (smaller gingham print) ribbons, and kept all of my hemp & bakers twine too!

I have a fair amount. I use it occasionally. Depends on what I'm doing... Not ready to purge anything yet. Did that before we moved in 2016 and everything was in storage for a full year. Then I didn't have much mojo last year at all so I feel like a lot of this is still kinda new. :)

I purged a whole giant tub of fibers and trims last year but kept some of the ribbons I thought I could still use on gift wrap and then I saved my bakers twine and a few other trims I though were good for tags, otherwise I decided that I had to much and a lady I know was making junk journals and needed tons of ribbons to use on them so I figured this needed to be used as some were over 20 years old!
