SQOTD 9.10.20

Post by Tamara »

I noticed so many pages going in the gallery lately!!
Do you consider yourself a fast scrapbooker or a slow one?

I know I have certainly been able to pick up the pace lately. When I saw the totals for last month I had completed 24 layouts. Just on Cookin up Creations. That is more than I have accomplished in the past so I guess I can credit my speed to all of you and these amazing challenges!!! :D :D :D

I tend to be a fast scrapbooker. I spend about an hour on a page

I"m the same. I think I am a fast scrapper. I can whip out a page in about an hour or so.

I really am slow, mainly in planning my page, but once I figure out the papers, pictures and the layout I whip it out in less then 30 minutes! But it may take me 3 days to plan it out

I'm a planner too. I plan the layout in my head, right down to the papers and embellishments I want to use. Then when it comes time to put it together I can usually do it less than an hour as long as the dogs are cooperative.

I'm a slow scrapper, it takes me all day to do 1 page. But since I'm home all the time now I've been getting a lot done this year.

I'm usually a pretty fast scrapper if I start with the patterned paper and a sketch or challenge, then find the photo since I have thousands to choose from. If I start with a photo I find I'm stuck choosing just the perfect paper to go with it.

I figure my process has come from being on different kit club design teams in the past. You always had to start with the product first.

I'm painfully slow. I have to step back a lot and decide how to place things. That's why I really like having sketches to go by. Helps with the decision making process. I try to do 1-2 pages a weekend for my DT commitments.

I fall in the medium - I can't get one done in an hour but it doesn't take me all day. Unless I am struggling with a sketch
