SQOTD: September 22nd

Post by LisanTexas »

Good morning! Would you say you have more paper OR more embellishments in your stash???

I have more paper then embellishments!! My word it's kind of ridiculous how much paper I have, in fact I have stopped buying paper and have not bought any new paper since March, however, I still get my DT kit every month that of course has new papers. I am no longer going to buy an entire collection as it really is just to much paper, I don't need 2 sheets of each paper that some collections give you, I'm just going to buy a few papers from each line that I like so I have about 3-4 papers which is enough to create a layout or two and a few cards using that collection.

I have a whole lot of both, most likely more paper than embellishments. It's ridiculous just how much supplies I have accumulated over the years. As far as embellishments, most of mine are just random things that I have purchased over the years that really don't match my papers, but I try to find a way to use them anyway.

I would probably say I have more embellishments. It seems I have a huge variety of those. Although I have a good amount of paper too. I can't resist buying new paper lines that I like, but I generally try to limit it to 3 or 4 per line. Except, recently I've been buying alot of the Vicki Boutin papers with just a few embellishments to go with these line. I can't seem to limit those papers very well.

I'd say it's probably about even. When I worked at Michaels I bought a lot of embellies when they were marked down. I was in charge of price changes so I usually got first pick on the clearance items. :D

Definitely paper! My embellishments were starting to catch up, but I can't resist a good sale on paper
