Join us all month long in February as we take an aquatic trip Under the Sea.

All challenges will be water themed - anything from swimming with Mermaids, taking a dip in the pool, or even catching your first fish. . . . the Challenge Team will be issuing you lots of fun "themed" challenges this month.

Remember - A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

*Winner will be chosen via Random.Org.

For this challenge I want you to use a patterned paper background, two photos and a frame.

This is a layout of a recent weekend getaway that Kyle and Brandy took in Brevard, N.C. They hiked 2 miles to see this particular waterfall. There are 250 waterfalls in the Brevard area alone. This is just one of many they saw that weekend. I kept this layout simple because I wanted the focus to be on the magnificent waterfall and the adorable photo of Kyle and Brandy, hence the frame.

Okay ladies, have fun with this one.

I used strips of paper to create a frame around the layout.

I framed each of the papers with cardstock and a little frame as an embellishment cluster ( am hoping it looks like an aquarium)
