We have all heard children (and many adults) say, "When I Grow Up..."
The world is full of opportunities and this month we are going to explore some of them. Join us in September as we create challenges based on careers . . . Who knows, you might decide what you want to be when you grow up!

When I Grow Up - Anon

Someday soon when I grow up, I’ll have a job to do
I’ll write a book or be a cook
Or work inside a zoo.
I might want to drive a bus
Or teach children to read
I’ll lead a train or fly a plane
Or plant a little seed.
I might want to fight a fire
Or be a doctor too
I’ll build a house or sew a blouse
Or sail the ocean blue.
So many jobs that I might choose
I wonder what I will be
I’ll work and learn
Until it’s my turn
To find the right job for me.

Remember - A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

My mom was a nurse. She became a nurse when I was 5. She was always the one to patch us up. It was a rare occasion to go to the doctor's office. I was never one that liked blood (I still do NOT). I was able to care for my own children and do small "nurse" jobs. During COVID there were lots of "Nurse Jobs." For my challenge share any health related photo(s) and tell about the event. Also use some circles on your page.

I scrapped a photo of me with my aunt. I had to wear a shield when I went to pick up my Aunt from her Assisted Living Center.

I was Sasha's nurse when she delivered all these awesome puppies. I used warm towels to dry the babies as they came. I fed Sasha vanilla ice cream in between births. What an awesome experience but a TON of work taking care of winter puppies.

Tace said he hit a bump while riding his bike, but I wonder if he might have been trying some sort of stunt. Anyhow he broke his leg and will be on light activity until Christmas. I feel sorry for his mother.

I used polka dot paper to mat my photos for my circles. My hidden journaling talks about how life changing the twins were.
