What's Turkey without Cranberry Sauce! My daughter loves it so much that one year for Christmas we gave her a can in her stocking! Now as an adult she prefers fresh homemade cranberry sauce so I chose this recipe to make a fun layout!
Image
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
Optional: pecans, orange zest, raisins, currants, blueberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice
1. Rinse Cranberries in colander and pick out any damaged or bruised
2. Boil water with sugar on med heat. Stir to dissolve
3. Add cranberries and cook until they burst. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes,
4. Stir in mix ins, if using any. Once the cranberries have burst you can leave it as is or dress it up with other ingredients.
5. Let it cool. Cool completely at room temperature and then transfer to a bowl and chill in the refrigerator. The cranberry sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
So my challenge is t use the five steps to create your layout. 1. Use cranberry papers, cardstock or pattern paper. 2. Add a circular pattern. 3. Add small dots. 4. Free for all, add anything of your choice to embellish. 5. Pop up a few of your photos.
And don't forget to be thankful and have fun!!

Tamara: wow love your recipe. I have ever made cranberry sauce. My mom is allergic to cranberries so we never had any when we were younger. I do like cranberries now and always think of her when I eat cranberry sauce, craisins, or anything cranberry. Beautiful page. love all the layers and different pps
