Join us all month long as we visit the historical period of the American Frontier in the late 19th Century, characterized by lawlessness, violence and most importantly, adventure.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
For today's challenge we are going to focus on a cowboys lasso. What is a lasso? A lasso is the loop of rope that cowboys use to catch cattle. To be a successful cowboy or cowgirl, you have to learn to throw a lasso while riding a galloping horse. The circle of rope is called a lasso.
So for this challenge you must include circles on your layout as well as some type of rope. It can be string, twine. jute, fiber or ribbon.
