Friday January 5th - Winter

Post by Deanna13 »

"We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts." ~ William Hazlett

Most people focus on the beauty of nature. However, Mother Nature touches us much more deeply. Nature isn’t about how it looks. Instead, nature is about how it makes us feel and how it touches us deep in our hearts.

Hey Everyone! I know everyone doesn't have Winter weather. So far we've had some heavy frost and a few snowflakes. Hope we do get some snow so the kids can get out and enjoy it and I can take some photos.

Your challenge today is to scrap any type of Outdoor Activity. Use only scrap papers, Add some Stitching, and a Cute Critter.

For my example I scrapped photos of the grandkids sledding, used only leftover scraps of Doodlebug paper, Added Stitching throughout and added 2 snow critters.

Hope you have fun with this!

Deanna: wow, LOVE your page, those colors and all that stitching. I especially love the large square that goes outside the page and through the squares

Love it Deanna! Great challenge! Santa brought me a beautiful pink Janome sewing machine which I plan to use for my scrapbook layouts. This is the perfect challenge to break out my machine! Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
