Soup of the Day: August 30, 2017

Post by BarbP »

I love picking "Soup of the Day"! There are so many beautiful and creative layouts and projects in the Member Gallery.

Today, this beautiful layout by LOLIS caught my eye right away. First of all, I love the photos Lolis chose to tell her story. Her family members are having fun, and it shows in those smiles. Second, I love the layout arrangement itself. It shows off the photos wonderfully. And, I love the colors -- they convey fun and excitement!

Your layout is beautiful, Loiis. Congratulations on SOUP OF THE DAY!

What a cute layout Lolis!!! I remember walking up and down the road in front of my house so that Kyle could get pokeballs.

Barb, thank you so much! What a wonderful description of my page! It brought tears to my eyes! I'm going to share it with my students, so they can see the power of writing!

The game is getting more exciting now! I prefer an afternoon of Pokémon raids than going to the movies, anytime!

I'm glad you liked my narrative, and I'm flattered that you want to share it with your students :)

We live in a very rural area and are surrounded by small "train stop" type towns. There just wasn't enough people playing to keep Kyle intrigued with it.
