October 2020 Chef of the Month - Petra Mutchler

Post by tammyfolk »

Cookin' Up Creations is pleased to announce that our "Chef of the Month" for October 2020 is our very own . . .Petra Mutchler!

Petra has been a member of the Cookin' up Creations community since Beth introduced her to the site many, many years ago before the site took a hiatus for a few years (during my home renovation, etc), and has stuck with me ever since!

Petra is a local scrapper/stamper that I met at Beths house during one of her Stampin' Up monthly club gatherings! I don't get to see her as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy hanging out with her, Beth & Melody and catching up!

Petra, thank you for sticking with us here at Cookin' up Creations, and for always participating in the challenges. Hopefully we inspire you as much as you inspire us!!

So ladies, let's put the SPOTLIGHT on Petra this month!

Please help me Congratulate Petra as our Chef of the Month for October 2020!

What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking?
I enjoy the quiet time when I'm working on my grand kids scrapbooks.

How did you get started?
I got my start in scrapbooking when my daughter introduced me to Miss Beth and ever since that day I have enjoyed scrapbooking.

Any advice for the new scrappers out there?
The best advice I have for a new scrapper is there is never a wrong way to scrapbook. All I can say is enjoy yourself, have fun with it, and don't be afraid to ask people questions if you need to.

Describe your style, your scrapping place, and your favorite products.
My scrapping style is old fashioned. My craft room also known as my scrapping place is where I go when I need peace and quiet. The Cricut is my all time favorite product to use. Craft smart paper pads are other products I like.

What and/or Who inspires you? Do you find that it changes? Where do you get your inspiration from?
My grandchildren inspire me to do all the scrapbooking I do. My inspiration never changes, my grand children will always be my inspiration.

What types of challenges do you find "challenge" you the most?
The layouts and getting all the materials to make my pages would have to be one of my biggest challenges.

What do/did you do for a living?
I have really always been a housewife.

Describe your perfect day.
My perfect day is being able to spend the day in my craft room and scrap and craft.

What's your favorite indulgence? Snack?
My favorite snack or indulgence would have to be different fruits. Some of my favorite fruits would be strawberries and peaches.

What's your current ringtone?
My current ringtone is just the default ringtone that came with my phone.

When you get in the car, what do you listen to?
My favorite thing to listen to when I get in the car is Country music.

What's one thing you would like to learn that is NOT scrapbook related?
One thing I would like to do is understand baseball. I watch my grandson play baseball and I would love for him to teach me.

What's your favorite layout and why:
My favorite layout would have to be a summer layout I did of my grandson sitting next to the pool. He's the newest addition and the youngest of the family.
