Short Bio:
I was born and raised in Bay City, Texas. I married William Donohoe and we were married for over 60 years when he passed away. God has always been the main thing in my life. Bill and I had three sons. Our oldest passed away three years ago. He was the one who kept me in scrapbook supplies. My middle son lives here with me now so I am not alone. My youngest lives in Utah where he teaches school and is on the retirement board for the State of Utah; He has five daughters and it is them and their families that I scrap.
What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking?
Creating something different from paper!
Do you have a scrapbooking style? If so, describe it for us.
I try for simple, but elegant. I prefer natural over cutesy.

—paper. I love to make my own embellishments—paper piecing, teabag folding, flowers, etc. I have and use lots of punches.
What are some of the things that inspire you?
Nature
Tell us about your scrapbooking space.
I have what I call my scraproom, but it also gets used for storage of a lot of things not scrap related. It is rather junky looking, but I can usually find what I want. I do my actual scrapping on a card table.
What do you do for a living?
I am 87 years old so nothing. I did home baking for over 40 years—wedding cakes, birthday cakes, anniversary, etc., and 100s of Christmas cookies. I was knownaround town as the cake lady.
What would be YOUR perfect day?
A day spent with my remaining family with no Covid to worry about.
What is your favorite indulgence?
Lobster or crab
Chocolate - Milk, Dark or White?
All three—oh, okay, milk chocolate
What is YOUR favorite type of Challenge?
One that is posted on time. I like the recipe challenges as long as they are not too restrictive.
What has been your Favorite "themed" month since you've joined Cookin' up Creations? Why?
I enjoyed the circles because there are so many different ways to use a circle.
What's one thing you'd like to learn that's NOT scrapbook related?
During the last few months ofstay at home time, I have been taking various college online courses, most of them about history and government. I would like to learn more about our government and how we can fix it.
What's your current ringtone? Favorite song? Current favorite movie?
Whatever was on the phone when I got it. Hand in Hand with Jesus is my favorite song and I do not go to movies at all, so no favorite.
Do you have a Favorite Layout? If so, please share it with us and why.
I have been scrapping for about 30 years so it is hard to pick just one but I will send one of my favorites that just seemed “right.”
Creating memories, one page at a time.
