10/5/19 - The rides near The Big Top!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! Step Right Up for another Fun Filled Month of Challenges here at Cookin' Up Creations!! Please join us as we Clown Around all month long!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Wednesday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations. The winner is chosen by random drawing; the prize is a $10 gift certificate to the winner's favorite online store. Every completed project earns you one entry into the drawing.
*In any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.
Almost every circus has at least a few children's rides and games outside the performance tent; my kids always wanted to ride every one! Back when I was a kid, each ride cost about a quarter, or maybe two if it was a "thrill ride".
Although she is all grown up, my youngest daughter still loves the circus. (She entertained at birthday parties, community events and parades as "Oopsy Daisy" -- an adorable clown -- from age 12 to 16. Her kids have that circus-loving gene in their souls also. These photos were taken in August at Garden of the Gods Park near Canon City, Colorado. Teddy, our youngest grandchild, LOVED the carousel and wanted to ride over and over!
