Nov 13th Challenge: LYB / old light blue paper

Post by Krystle »

This month we are giving thanks to those companies who are not around in our scrapping lives any more. For my first CUC challenge as part of CUC's challenge team, I have chosen to use one of my past favourite lines by a discontinued scrapbooking manufacturer: Winterings by Little Yellow Bicycle. I would like you to either create a layout using Little Yellow Bicycle products or you can use an old scrapbooking line that uses a lot of light blue.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' Up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $10 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

*Any month that we have more than 50 completed layouts/creations, the prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate instead of $10.

I finished a layout for this challenge but will have to wait until tomorrow to get a photo in the daylight.

OOPS! -- ACCIDENTALLY POSTED TWICE..... I tried to erase the duplicate layout, but I just get a message that a post can't be deleted once it's been replied to.....
This cute wave background paper has shades of blue to blue-green. My daughter's older two kids were with their dad for the weekend, so she and her husband took 1 1/2-year-old Ted to the Discovery Center in Milwaukee to see the fish, other marine life and mechanical displays.

So I got carried away on this one and just kept scrapping one event. I used paper I had from a company called Best Creation, Inc. I only had four different papers in this travel line. I cut out my own ephemera from the last paper I had and incorporated them on the other pages.
