Scrapbooking is all about capturing memories, celebrating the good times, and sharing positivity—just like a warm, fresh donut lifts your spirits. So, let’s channel that donut energy—soft, sweet, and impossible not to love—into every little piece we create. Because in the end, a scrapbook full of happy moments (and maybe a few donut doodles) is one of the best treats of all! Let's make this month one to remember.
This week’s challenge is all about finding sweetness in the struggle and making magic with what you already have!
Life is short, eat the donut, cut the paper, wear the special dress, and most importantly, use the supplies you’ve been saving!
Your mission is to:
1. Use something brand new from your stash maybe a tool, stamp, embellishment, or paper you’ve never tried. No more hoarding!
2. Add a quote or phrase of encouragement, something uplifting to remind yourself or a loved one that tough days don’t last, but tough cookies (and scrapbookers!) do.
3. Add something sweet-themed, or anything that makes you smile!
Bonus: Do not forget the sprinkles!
Here’s my example: a page documenting my hospital visit for a stimulation test. Though it was a hard day, we found joy, took pictures, and reminded each other to just breathe. This layout mixes brand-new paper that I’ve had for over a year and a brand new floral stamp , a heartfelt quote and journaling with sweet Hello Kitty images I made with my Cricut, as sprinkles I used a brand new package of sticky sequins.
So grab your goodies, take a deep breath, and remember you are tougher than any donut is sweet.
