Grab your glitter, your photos, and your best “Vitameatavegamin” smile — because February is all about celebrating friendship, laughter, and a little lovable chaos… Lucy-style!
From chocolate-covered memories to heart-warming hijinks, we want to see pages that sparkle with humor, nostalgia, and classic sitcom charm. Whether you’re scrapbooking romance, mishaps, or moments that made you say, “Lucy, you’ve got some scrap-pin’ to do!” — this month it's all about having fun while you create.
So dust off those vintage vibes, channel your inner red-headed troublemaker, and let your creativity run wild (just… maybe not as wild as a conveyor belt full of truffles). Because around here, we don’t just scrapbook . . .
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
One of my favorite episodes was when Lucy and Ethel went to work for the day at the chocolate factory. The conveyer belt started going faster than they could grab the chocolates so they were shoving them in their mouths as fast as they could.
Your challenge is...1. use shades of brown as you background to represent the chocolates. 2. use some kind of motion to represent the conveyor belt. I chose to use the arrows. 3. Use hearts to show their love for chocolate (oops I just realized I grabbed the stars by mistake) and Bonus: Use hand written journaling to tell this funny story.
Have fun and get creative!!
Creating memories, one page at a time.
