RQOTD: August 25th

Post by LisanTexas »

Do you drive a car, SUV or pick up truck?

While I was driving to/from work yesterday there was a lot of traffic and I noticed that people seem to be driving cars more then SUV's/trucks now...I have no scientific proof just noticed all of a sudden that where it used to seem every vehicle on the road was an SUV now I notice way more cars...seems like at least in my area there may be a shift towards cars over SUV's or trucks. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

Good morning. I'm not sure where you live but here in Saskatchewan, Canada we have a lot of trucks because of our huge agricultural base. that's on the highways though. Here in the city I notice what my husband calls "crossovers" which are the babies of SUVs and cars apparently!! LOL

Hubby and I both have SUV's. It's easier when lugging kids and sports equipment around.

Right now I'm driving a Ford F-150. I am in the market for something smaller but still big enough to haul dog crates in. I want another SUV but a smaller version of what I had before and the back seats must lay completely flat to fit an extra crate in if needed.

In our area I see more trucks and SUV's than cars but the county next to us is mostly a farming county.

I have a little Honda Fit. Love it! It's great doing the ordinary errands around town, etc. DH drives a truck. We also have a van to haul the grandkids around and for longer trips and vacation.

Car for me. truck for DH. Cause a man can't live without a truck, right? It's a tacoma, downsized from the Tundra after building the cabin. Still gives us the capability to haul stuff occasionally without borrowing one. Here there are tons of SUV's on the road. everyone with big families hauling their kids everywhere.

We only have one vehicle and it's an SUV. We see mostly SUV's and trucks in our area.
