Do you hand-write it? Type? Stamp? Do you tend to use journaling cards or strips, or do you write it directly onto your layout? Do you journal on every layout?
I'm a former newspaper reporter/editor, so I always feel a need to include at least some journaling on every layout. And even though my handwriting is less than perfect, I usually handwrite my journaling because I love seeing old letters, notes and so on with my dad's or grandmother's handwriting and I hope my kids/grandkids feel the same way some day when they look at my albums. Most of the time I have a journaling card os some sort, but sometimes I just write directly onto the layout.
I dont normally journal on my layouts. I love to hear the stories people tell just by looking at the pictures.
If I do journal at all it would be on vacation albums. I love to recap a lot of the trip that wasnt told in pictures. And when I do, I do not trust my handwriting so I always printed it out on white paper that I embellished or vellum.
I journal on some but not all layouts, some directly on page, some on journalist cards. Used strips a long time ago. For got about strips. Might have to use some soon
I don't add journaling to every layout but if I do prefer to print it out on a piece of cardstock and add it to the page somewhere or print it and add it to the back of the layout.
I do some type of journaling on every layout. I almost always handwrite it unless I have a lot to say - then it's typed. l do a little bit of everything - directly on the layout, journaling strips, and journaling cards.
