i picked chokecherries with a friend yesterday so today was spent making syrup and jam. My hubby and grandkids love it so they will be happy. I am hoping to get into my scraproom tomorrow or wednesday as it's getting cooler here and not so nice to spend time outside. We have spent the majority of the summer out at the lake, and the weather was so nice this year, it was easy to just sit outside and enjoy it.

It's been a busy few days around here. We got all our cabinets and some doors, windows, countertops, sinks and miscellaneous other things ordered from the Habitat for Humanity Restores in Tacoma and Seattle. Two different stores so two different orders but man did we get an amazing price on everything!!! Once that was all set up I had to figure out how to fill out a Bill of Lading. Never had to do that before in all the various jobs I had. :) So got that done and sent the barge line and the guy at the Tacoma store all the info they'd need. YAY!

And the hospital finally called and I'm going to Ketchikan on Friday to get my CT scans done! YAYAYAYAY!!! We've decided I should be okay on the ferry. A $70 round trip a whole day of time as opposed to a $250 round trip for 30 minutes total flying time. There aren't any active cases on our island so as long as I stay away from people I should be okay. :)

I also got the two layouts finished for the 6x6 class that I was behind on. There was one where everything was on a slant and I really was intimidated by it. But someone did a video and as I watched it just clicked and I think it's one of my all time favorite layouts! YAY!

So lots happening here. Plus we had a few Amazon orders to place. So in a couple of weeks we're going to have a LOT of stuff arriving that we'll need to put somewhere dry. :)

Hope everyone's doing well! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
