How often do you get a haircut? Do you go to a hairdresser or cut your own?

I go 40 minutes away to my niece. I go about every 2 months, should go more often but life is busy

Funny you should ask this. I have always worn my hair short until the last couple of years. When LuLu got sick I hated to leave her so my hair started to grow out. I would have to pin the bangs back to see. Then when she passed in September of 2015 I continued to let it grow. I did have it trimmed to all one length that following Christmas but it hasn't been cut since. Now it's probably past my shoulders and I always wear it up in a scrunchie. Yes, I said scrunchie....a soon to be 52 year old woman wearing a dang scrunchie. I'm ready to go get it all chopped off but I absolutely hate taking the time out of my day to get a hair cut.

I am in bad need of a haircut! It's been since before the holidays since I had it last cut. I have been meaning to go for the last month, but when you have a 17 year old special needs kid and 3 year old with you almost all day during the week, and a hairdresser that is rarely in on a Saturday, it doesn't leave much time to get one!

Every six weeks. At 11am. On Tuesday. Same person who has cut my hair since we graduated from High School together back in 1970. I do not like change.

Every 5-6 weeks. A friend and I have our appointments together so we can go to dinner afterwards....she always books the appointment for me.

A friend and I have our appointments together. We go to breakfast before.

This was interesting to read. My mom was a hair stylist/barber for years. She almost always cut my hair. I would go a long time between cuts because I didn't live in the same town. In the last few years she's been trying to retire and I have been searching for a stylist. FINALLY found one I love (a former student of mine, actually) and now I go every 6 weeks. She is popular and hard to get an appointment with!

I cant stand my bangs in my eyes. I get my haircut every five weeks.

Now that my hair is long...it's probably been 8 or 9 months since my last trim. I'm due for one...
