Join us all month long as we pay homage to the tiny creatures responsible for pollinating the flowers, fruits, and vegetables that we all know and love . . . and let’s not forget about the sweet, sweet honey either! Bee-lieve me, there are SO many fun challenges coming your way this month!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
Todays challenge is all about the hive.
inside every hive you will find lots and lots of worker bees.
The inside of a honey bee hive is filled with thousands of busy worker bees: feeding young, building honeycomb, making honey, protecting the hive and a myriad of other tasks. The role of worker bees is to do all the work in the hive. The jobs they perform change in relation to the age of the bee and the needs of the colony. Every one is needed to do their part.
Todays challenge is all about who is in your hive? Is it your partner, your children, your grandchildren or your pets? Create a layout showing your hive (your people etc) and Since bees are always buzzing around, tell your story on a journaling block and also a little bling won't hurt.
