7/26 - Fireworks challenge

Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)
This might be a stretch but as I was thinking about our American culture and history, doilies popped into my mind. As I was growing up my grandmothers, aunts and even cousins were always making doilies mostly to give as gifts to family and friends. I pulled out my paper doilies and after playing around with them they kinda reminded me of fireworks once they exploded in the sky.
So, today’s challenge is to use some doilies on your layout and something that sparkles along with some frames.
