Cookin' Up Creations

Join us all month long as we post challenges based on the "Casino Night" theme.
We'll be focusing on the actual event, the party guests and most importantly, the exciting games! C'mon - show us YOUR best POKER face.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....


High Roller: For this challenge we will scrapbook a luxury experience, vacation, or event. Incorporate elements like glitter, diamonds, or metallic foils to give it a high-end feel. Also add a tag or two.
For my example I used our Christmas pictures from last year, we’re enjoying a little luxury meal, lobster on our vacation visiting our boys in Albuquerque. I used several gold metallic elements, gold glitter, gold metallic thread, and gold sequins. I also added some shiny enamel dots. The designer paper also has metallic gold.

This is super cute! The paper and the details are just perfect. I love how you did the journal part right on the paper with hand drawn lines.
