They're creepy, they're kooky, and your layouts will be spooky!

Join us this November for a frightfully fun month of Addams Family-inspired scrapbooking challenges! Whether you're channeling Wednesday’s deadpan wit, Morticia’s gothic glam, or Uncle Fester’s electrifying energy, there’s something for every macabre memory maker.

Dig up your darkest papers, eerie embellishments, and mysterious mementos—because it’s time to get Altogether Ooky with your creativity!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Cousin Itt was a relative of the Addams family. Unlike the original characters he was not created by cartoonist Charles Addams, but later, added by a show producer. Cousin Itt was an interesting character with long hair, glasses, and a top hat who drove a three wheeled vehicle and liked to spend time in the chimney when he visited!

Your challenge today is to make a layout of a furry friend (or an interesting character in your family if you don’t have a furry friend). Add multiple layers of something (photo mats, papers, embellishments, etc.) and top off your layout with a border.

My layout includes old photos of my wonderful American Bulldog, Monty who passed in 2013. I used a multi-layered title created on my Cricut and layers of scrap papers on under my photos. My top border is lace trim layered over two patterned papers.

Happy scrapping!!

Here is mine. I didn't have an animal, so I used photos of my grandson playing in the lilac tree

Love the addition of the skinny stripes of black and white paper you added to the top and bottom…such a simple but cool addition!
