12/20. SATURDAY

Post by Tamara »

Good Morning!

DH had to be to work this morning by 7:15. He is doing a Manager shift for the 9:00 Matinee. The good thing is he will be home all afternoon and evening. It's a stay at home day for me!!! I decided to cook a turkey tomorrow, it's just us but I still have some preparations to do today. Also finishing up my Activities for my friends grandkids to have things to do on the days that their mom goes to Chemo. I have most of them packaged, just need to type up the Master list and put on number tags. Trying to get that done this morning. Do you have any Christmas things to do today?
Happy Saturday!

Nothing to do Christmas related today. It is also a stay at home day for me. My only plans are to piddle around the house over the weekend, play door tag with the dogs and play at my craft table in the living room.

Good Morning All!! I am starting my Christmas baking. First is Chex Mix which is about 3 or 4 pans. Then, probably fudge. We make peanut butter and chocolate/peanut butter. I wanna try a couple new recipes for Sugar Cookies and Mints. Then there are a few other cookies, but won't get to those today.

Garrett and I did our regular Saturday breakfast / brunch at Dolly's today (around 11). He's grading papers now, and I'm working on laundry and household chores. At 3pm today we'll meet up with Jackie and the kids to ride the "Polar Express" in town for about an hour and then home. I need to run to Lowe's for some rock salt and a few other things, and then perhaps Jackie will be done with whatever she has to do, and we can all go out and see the Christmas lights. . . FINALLY!

Greetings from Tennessee! As you might have guessed, I’m having the time of my life! No outings just enjoying being all together especially with the baby! So much joy! I love seeing my son being a dad!
I’ll be baking cookies today, waiting for my order to arrive with the ingredients needed. It’s very cold!
Confession time, I had planned on bringing the Christmas cards to send them from here, I had been looking for them, and didn’t find them anywhere. I finally found them, I left them on the kitchen counter… at home  The cards I’m sending will be received after the New Year.

Baby snuggles are the best! Who cares about the Christmas cards. Enjoy your precious time.
