January 20

Post by phillisw »

Good Morning. I've had breakfast and a load of sheets in the washer. My dd arrives this afternoon from Nevada for a short visit. So probably no scrapping while she is here. It's a little warmer here in Florida. Certainly, much warmer than in NY

Phillis Enjoy your Daughter's visit!!

It's another stay at home day for me today. DH went early for bloodwork and was told they were all in a meeting. If the lab opens at 7:00 they should have had at least one employee stay back and take care of patients. He had to wait for 1 1/2 hours till their meeting was over. But he didn't want to do it again tomorrow. I have already done the ironing and washed the towels. Now it's my time to do some scrap room cleaning or actual scrapping!
Happy Tuesday!

Phillis, enjoy your daughter’s visit.
Tamara, that’s crazy. I agree, someone should have stayed to see patients.

It’s a stay at home day for me. I just finished gathering all the trash together for Kyle to take to the recycling center. I’ve got tea on the stove. Kyle dug a trench in the back yard last week with the tractor and I next project is to tear down a couple of old buildings and burn them. What doesn’t burn we will bury afterwards. One of the perks of living in the country I suppose. I wanted to rent a dumpster but we couldn’t coordinate enough people to help in the time frame of the dumpster rental. I also wanted to get it done before the windy season.

Tamara, that's just crazy....I hate dealing with anything medical!
Jan, you are one busy lady working on your property!

It's a stay at home day here. Yesterday we went to our PCP and we're both good. Except he insisted we get flu shots. I understand dh should get one because of his chemo but I didn't want one. I've only had 1 flu shot in my life and I came down with the flu anyway. He said that's impossible! So I got one anyway just for dh's sake. I better not get sick! :D
Just need to clean the bathrooms and then I can scrap.

We’re having cooler temperatures but we’re expecting another cold front tonight. I’m doing my nails today in blue for the cold temperatures
